Try the American Bar Association (I think its at abanet.org). They do a wealth of research for their members and lots of it is for sale to non-members at a slightly higher price. For example, I recently referred a client to a report the ABA sponsored on technology use at large and small law firms. I think it cost $150 for members and maybe $250 for non-members.
