Sorry for any confusion. I am not looking for either a curriculum (at least in the training or academic sense)nor a reporting system.
I am interested in creating a market research plan for a young Internet company. This is what I mean when I say 'market research plan': Developing market research objectives (that are aligned with the comany's goals) and creating a structure for developing and executing appropriate market research studies to meet those objectives.
My specific question is: how does one create such a plan? is there a 'market research' format that is followed when one is developing a strategic research plan?
I hope this clears up any confusion.
