Job Summary
Global professional services firm seeks a Sr. Manager of Analytical Consulting for our pharma client in Central New Jersey. You will be responsible for working closely with Pharmaceutical Brand teams in scoping business problems, designing analytics based solution, working closely with data team and leading a team of analysts to deliver the solution and consulting with clients to help them generate ROI from the solution.
Responsibilities
• Develop solutions to address the latest, context specific problems for Brand teams in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Lead the complete process of Advanced Analytics projects (Market Mix, Test Control and Predictive Analytics) from kicking off a project, data collection, processing and validation, modeling to delivering results to clients.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams requiring research information.
• Manage activities of multiple cross-functional suppliers towards the accomplishment of meaningful and timely results that meet and exceed client expectation.
• Prepare and manipulate data to prepare for modeling and analysis.
• Conduct rigorous statistical modeling and data analysis to address business questions.
• Develop thought leadership in the analytics space and supervise offshore analysts.
• Analyze results, provide recommended actions, and assess implications of analytical findings.
• Effectively communicate to management and clients via presentations and reports.
• Ensure high quality deliverables are met in a timely manner.
• Manage client relationship and pitch for new analytical opportunities.
• Provide coaching and counseling in developing onshore and offshore direct reports
Requirements
• Prior experience with Pharma manufacturers (in brand teams or Market research teams) is highly desirable. Ideal candidate would be having a lot of experience interacting with Brand teams and can speak / understand their language and needs. The candidate need not be extremely technical with respect to knowledge on SAS, SQl etc. but may have an appreciation and exposure to the technical aspects.
• Strong understanding of and experience in working with pharmaceutical and media data from sources such as IMS and Nielsen will be desirable.
• Demonstrated skill in consulting with clients, solving their problems and becoming a trusted partner.
• Strong statistical and data manipulation skills using SAS, Microsoft SQL and R.
• Proficient with regression, forecasting and optimization methods.
• Marketing mix, pricing and promotions optimization, segmentation, forecasting skills.
• Must have demonstrated ability to manage market research projects, work closely with multiple internal and external clients.
• Experience in CPG & Retail business will be valuable
• Experience in working with Indian offshore teams
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field with 5-7 years experience in marketing research
Salary: $100-120k+
